What Does Resurrection Day Mean to You? Part 2

I still cannot believe our wonderful and perfect Savior died and rose again to save us. What an awesome God we serve!

It makes me so sad that some people forget all that the Savior did for us as they celebrate Easter! Jesus was ripped to shreds, mocked, laughed at, spat upon, and then finally nailed to a cross. And yet, three days later He who died for our sins, rose again! Do you know that if Jesus had not risen from the dead, we would all go to hell . . . that horrible burning pit that is full of sorrow? Our faith would have no meaning! The lives of the great followers of Christ such as Jim Elliot, Nate Saint, John Bunyan, and William Tyndale, would have no meaning. And all the people who helped translate the Bible into English would have wasted their lives.

I’m so glad Jesus rose again and gave us who believe in Him the hope of heaven!

Hi Kyle,

Your comments are well penned. It is hard to understand how some poeple can live each day without giving a thought to what a gloroious faith we have.

I am so thankful that your parents have taken the time to teach you and pattern their lives in a way that you could all know the truth about what a great and awesome
God that we have. I feel that God did not put us on this earth as some experiment to live our 70+ years and that is the end!!! No, God put us here with a free will; but hoping that we would turn to Him and worship Him. He provided a way that we could have everlasting life if we would just except the gift that unlocks the door to heaven and erases our sin. Easter is indeed a glorious
time of celebration for the family of God.

Until I see you at the checker board, this Meemom loves you from here to infinity.

Dear Kyle,

We love to read how you feel about our Lord. We can tell it is in your heart to tell others about God's great gift of eternal life.

3 John 1:4 says what is in our hearts.

We have no greater joy than to hear that our children and their children are walking in the truth.

We love you so much. G and P
