First Day of Spring . . .

. . . . here in our neck of the woods! This is what we woke up to this morning! And as I sit here typing while I look out the windows, the snow continues to fall. Looks like the weather needs just a bit more time to catch up to the calendar! :) That's okay . . . we still love the Pacific Northwest!

It looks like someone better plug a heater in for those poor daffodils. Who would have thought that you would see snow this late.

Maybe you all better get on top of the hill and sing out to Mother Nature that we have had the first day of spring and she can let up on the snow now. She must be getting older and cannot read the calendar too well.

Maybe you will be snow sleding on Easter Sunday. Hope you have a glorious Easter celebration. Much love, Meemom

Dear Meemom,

I do too, think we should plug in a heater for those poor daffodis!! But, at least the weather is getting sunnier as the day has been going on!!

I guess God thought the trees, grasses, flowers, etc. needed more water. It should be a beautiful springtime when it does get here!

I love you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!! And happy Resurrection Sunday!!!
Love,
Valerie

If you still lived in Arizona, you would be enjoying 80 degree days. But you can enjoy your beautiful summer days while we are broiling away down here!

That's a beautiful picture. Thanks for posting it so we can all enjoy it.

Hi grown up little people,

I am sitting here with Meemom reading all of your wonderful things you have said about the resurrection of our Christ and I cannot get over the fact that you children are speaking like grown-ups. I am also thinking inside how wonderful it is to have parents that love you so much that they take the time most every day to teach you about God's word.

As I think back when my kids were your age, and my life seemed so busy, that even though we went to church on Sundays, I never spent the quality time with my children that your Dad and mom spend with you. I loved my kids, but now in retrospect, how much more wonderful there life would be today if I had the depth of love that your parents have for you and our Lord.

I hope all of you have a wonderful Easter and hopefully I can come at the end of summer and get over to see you. All my love to all of you, Papa Bob

Hi Papa Bob!

It is wonderful to hear from you!

I am so thankful for my mommy and daddy. They have been so diligent in teaching us about our Lord. I don't know where I would be spiritually without them!

It is always good to renew our minds with the truth . . . that the Lord is in control over our lives! And what a joy it is to know He will give us the grace to overcome any past regrets.

Thanks again for stopping by and reading our blog! I love you so much!

Lydia

Dear Papa Bob,

What an encouraging comment! Yes, I cannot begin to express how much I enjoy being with my parents and how helpful it will be in my future to have learned from them about God and His grace.

Yes, we all have weaknesses and make mistakes, but God in His kindness and grace always forgives us!

Thanks again for your comment!

I love you,

Kyle

Dear Papa Bob,

It was great to receive your comments! Thank you!

We do have wonderful parents and grandparents who teach us all about our Lord. Without you guys and Mommy and Daddy, I would not have known what Easter really means.

Even when we look back and feel regret over things we have done, or didn't do, we can press on, knowing that God loves us, has forgiven us, and is continuing to work all things together for our good!

I love you and look forward to seeing you at the end of summer too!

Love,

Caroline

Dear Papa Bob,

I cannot begin to express my thanks to you for your encouraging and sweet comments!

I am so glad that Daddy and Mommy are teaching us in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. I also am so thankful for you and Memmom encouraging us in our faith too!

Even though you look back on your life and regret some things, you can be encouraged by knowing that God's mercies are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22-23. And that He uses even these things for His good purposes and glory!!!

I love and miss you soooooo much!

Thanks again!

Valerie

Dear Papa Bob,

Thank you very much for your sweet comment! I am so blessed to have parents that have taught us all about Jesus! I am also really blessed to have such great and Godly grandparents!

And please be encouraged . . . God still works ALL things together for good and He is always sovereign over everything . . even in our weaknesses and short-comings!

I love you soooooooo much!
