Happy Anniversary, My Dear

by Robyn

Happy Anniversary my dear,
It’s time to celebrate our nineteenth year!

These years have been so blessed,
As together we have sought God’s best!

Today my heart is filled to the rim,
And overflowing with gratefulness to Him.

For nineteen years of sweet memories with you,
And they just keep getting better, it’s true!

Thank you for all you have done,
To make life for me and the kids so fun.

But what I am most thankful for,
Is how you lead us to Jesus evermore.

As this is where our blueprints are found,
That make our family’s foundation sound.

So thanks again my dear,
For each and every joyful year.

With you always by my side,
Forever I’ll be, your happy bride!

Now hurry home from Denver,
Because having you there,
Instead of here,
Is not what we like, today, tomorrow. . . or EVER!!!!

That poem was so beautiful, it made me cry. I was wondering if I could use it for Bob on the 12th. Haha

Maybe you should do a family book of poems and have them published. Everyone seems to be sooo talented.

Hope you and Ted have many more fulfilling years of happiness together. You sure have a beautiful family. Love you bunches, Mom

Happy Anni to both of you "dears"
Your love for each other
Is music to our ears.

While you are apart,
there may be tears.
But joy comes to your heart
when togetherness nears.

Love you lots,
Mom and Dad

Dear Mom,

Thanks so much for your kind comments about my poetry :) It was very encouraging, especially given I penned my thoughts at 4am! Yes, you're welcome to use it. You might just need to change the number of years to twenty-five :) . . . woo hoo! Congratulations to you two!

Love you so much!

Dear Gabe,

Thanks so much for your comment! We always love hearing from you! Thanks for encouraging us in our poetry and sending us an anniversary greeting! I think your parents have been married for about as many years as we have? We still remember their wedding so well, and the cute little church mouse that wanted to be a part of it :)!

With love,

Mrs. Bowes

Can it really be 19 years ago that we all worked together at the ACS and took a little break to celebrate your beautiful wedding? What a joy it has been to be your friend and to share so many things about our lives over the years.

I hope you get to have a wonderful celebration when Ted returns, and that the next 19 years are even better than the last. God bless you on this special day.

Love, Donna

My Lovely daughter and Great Son In Law who I consider as my son,

Congratulations on your awesome Nineteen Years. With the blessing you have I am sure that this is just the beginning.

Your Poem is excellent. It expresses as a bride forever the feelings you show for your partner in life. I am very happy for you and your wonderful children who you have brought into this world. A truely beautiful family.

Hi Donna!

Sure was fun to receive your sweet note! Thanks so much for the anniversary wishes! IT IS hard to believe it has been so many years ago that we worked together. Those are fond memories . . . well, not of the work :) . . . but of becoming such good friends, of all the fun times we had together, and all the ways you helped me when I was Hardy's administrative assistant!

With love to you and your dear family,

Robyn
