Trusting In God's Plan

By Kyle

For freedom our forefathers fought,
And Godly principles to children taught.

Oh, how I wish we had not deserted,
The Godly and wise principles they concerted.

Yes, we have wandered so far,
From our Godly forefathers, heroes they are!

Indeed, parental rights are slipping away,
As our nation pretends to be “Light” and gay.

As in California where parents are no longer free,
To discipline and home educate their children . . .can it really be?

I fear that they are an example,
Of what our country may be for ALL the people.

We must be faithful, like Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego,
As they followed God’s commands amidst the furnace’s glow.

And like Daniel as he faced the lion’s den,
We must be obedient and courageous men.

Let’s band together to fight the good fight and do all that we can,
Then on our knees we’ll pray fervently, trusting in God’s plan.

Hi Kyle,

Your poem is great. If parents all over the country had the convictions of your parents, we would not be in this mess. You are so right about staying true to God and being brave. I am sure our forefathers would be quite disappointed to see what is happening to our country.

Looking forward to seeing you soon. Speaking of bravery....are you really ready for that checker game? I love you, Meemom

WOW!!!!!!!!! You young people are getting very professional with the poems.

I just wish that more young people in this country has the love of God and Country as you do.

Our schools do not teach discipline, respect for others, responsibility and love for our country.

Keep up the good work and Kyle take it easy on your Meemom when your play checkers. If yo don't Melvin Zwick might just visit you. Ha Ha Ha.

I love you more than all the stars in the universe and that is a BIG bunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
