I am so thankful that we still have the freedom,
To worship the Lord, and lift high His kingdom.
But I wish that our country would stay faithful to the Lord,
And would be mindful of the judgment we’re growing closer toward.
Because now we have abandoned our Father’s laws,
And it is causing our great country many flaws.
God is the One who made our country strong,
And as we leave His ways, we are going very wrong.
So let’s pick up our Bibles and fight for God’s word true,
And hopefully, no more freedoms will be lost for me and you!

Hi Lydia,
Your poetry is great. It does so well reflect what is happening in our country. We must continue to pray that God will allow us to keep the feedoms we enjoy. Hope you and your siblings will continue in your poetry. You all seem very gifted. Much, much, love, Meemom
