A Special Treasure

By Kyle

Roses are red, though they’re not her color,
She does, however, dearly love her mother.

She’s always been there when you need a band-aid,
Yes, she’d make a great nurse or maid.

She loves listening to Spirit one-o-five point three,
But occasionally she will watch a movie with me!

In a wrestling match she’s a bit more strong,
But don’t worry, it won’t be this way for long.

Her sheep she has quite a love for,
Yes, no one could love a sheep more!

She also has Sugar the chicken,
But I guess I should call her a hen.

But for a long time she has not laid any eggs . . .
Hmmm . . . suddenly I’m dreaming of some fried chicken legs!

Oh, from the point of this poem I digress,
So back to my sister in the purple dress.

She loves God at any measure,
Yes, she is quite a special treasure.

Dearest Quad Granny,

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. You do show great talent in your poetry. Who knows, maybe you will see it in a museum one day. Unlike your game playing!

Love you bunches,
Kyle

Kyle,
Your poem is very well done
but chicken legs are not to come

a great poem done by Kyle
who always wears a smile

Kyle the great pitcher
who will always love his sister

this poem is by Melvin Zwick
who did it way too quick

I, Grandpa, thinks that Melvin Zwick should stay with his story writing.
He will never come close to writing poems as well as you do.
Sure do need you sharp eyes and help playing find the clue games in the computer hidden clue games.
Love you GREAT BIG bunches!!!

Dear Grammie and Papa,

Thank you for your stupendous comment. I hope too that me and Lydia will stay best friends forever.

I'm all pumped up now that spring training has started, and hope the D-backs do well this year!

Love you more than all the baseballs in the world!!!

Christina and Daniel are back from India now and Christina is taking Caleb and Nate to a spring training game on Tuesday. Wish she could take you also. Love you more than all the bats (that would be the baseball type) in the world.

Oh very nice Kyle! I'm not sure if you remember me but this is Gabriel, Mrs. Eagle's son. You're very good at poetry! I've never acquired the abilities you have! I especially like this line... "But for a long time she has not laid any eggs . . .
Hmmm . . . suddenly I’m dreaming of some fried chicken legs!" That cracked me up! Keep posting poetry dude! You're great! Click my comment name and you can view my blog!
