They are pondered by all who delight in them.
Psalm 111:2
After watching the awesome lunar eclipse on Wednesday night, we got to thinking more this week about God’s magnificent handiwork in His creation all around us. We decided to write some of our observations down. Here are just a few of the excerpts!
Valerie Sees God’s Handiwork In . . .
The nursing baby goats, as only God could give them the instinct to know where the milk is. No one had to teach them where to find it!
The little spider making a web to catch its food.
Seeing my little brothers grow, and how God made every part of their body to work together to make one healthy body.
Kyle Sees God’s Handiwork In . . .
How big trees start from a tiny seed as small as a lima bean or smaller.
The wispy clouds that He uses to create beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Maple seeds, and how God made them spred like helicopters!
Lydia Sees God’s Handiwork . . .
When I hear the unique voices of each different person.
When I see the huge blue ocean carved out by His might!
When I think of our amazing solar system and know that only He could have put us close enough to the sun that we would not freeze, but far enough away that we would not fry!
(When you look at all of nature, you can see the wonderful work of the Lord in everything! I believe that millions of years alone couldn't create such an awesome, beautiful world!)

Sea lions we saw last week on our trip to the ocean!
Caroline Sees God’s Handiwork In . . .
The white wooly fleece of the lambs, as I think about how God created this wool to help keep us warm.
How the cold, wet winter turns into spring, as I feel the warm rays of the sun peering through the white fluffy clouds.
The shade trees and the lush green grass which keep me cool in the heat of the summer.
Victoria Sees God’s Handiwork In . . .
The soft white little baby goats frolicking in the field.
My little brother Joseph’s cute little face.
Anna’s soft colorful coat and her two different colored eyes.
Mommy Sees God’s Handiwork In . . .
The uniqueness of each of our children in appearance, strengths, personality, gifts, abilities, and interests.
A most brilliant rainbow I saw stretched across the sky before me as I drove home this evening.
The itty-bitty blood vessels throughout baby Joseph’s little body.
Ice "stalagmite" we saw yesterday under our pasture's water hoses!
Where do you see God's handiwork?

It is amazing to see God's handiwork. It is everywhere we look and hard to believe that some don't recognize it as from the hand of God. I always reflect on God's handiwork when I see the majestic mountains or when I go to the ocean and see the tide going in and out. And of course here in Arizona we do have some beautiful sunsets that always remind me that God has the most magnificent paintbrush of all. Enjoy your comments and am enjoying your blog site. Love, Meemom
Dear Quadgranny,
Thanks for your awesome comments on where/how you see God's handiwork! We enjoyed your input! Yes, Phoenix does have some gorgeous sunsets! And I am always fascinated with the super duper tall AND very skinny palm trees and how strong those trunks must be! When I see the tops of them swaying in the breeze, I can't believe they stay so upright and without snapping!
It is so true that God's handiwork is everywhere. We were thinking today on the way to church about how creative He was in creating all the vegetables and fruits that we eat . . . such varieties! And all the smells that we smell. Lydia came running in this morning after feeding the animals exclaiming, "Mommy, it smells sooo good outside! There is a light mist in the air and is smells sooo wonderful!"
Thanks again for your thoughtful contribution!
We love you!
Robyn
One could write a book with a million pages to define all of God's handiwork.
Just some thoughts off the top of my head:
Creation of all things from the smallest one cell living thing to the universe
The beauty and strength of a tiger
A humming bird gathering spider webs to make her nest
The ability to see, hear and touch
Yesterday, today and tomorrow
Arizona sun sets
The ability to pass on ones self to kids and grandkids
and on forever
Hi Grandpa!
Excellent! Thanks so much for your comments. You thought of some great ones! Yes, one could write a book about all the many ways they see God's handiwork!
We love you!
I see God's handiwork in your blog, in the originality and tender hearts of your family. Thank you for taking time to produce this continuous work of art. Please keep basking in the flood of God's love, and then letting it spill out to praise Him and to bless us.

The Bowes Family
Dear friends,
Gabriel and I are blessed to have spent time browsing your blog and seeing God's handiwork in each of you. It has been a long time since we last saw you, that day long ago, as we were moving away from Flagstaff. Now you have brothers we have not even met yet.
Each smile caught,
each stroke of the key,
although we are separated by mile after mile,
Our hearts love you a lot,
As we read your blog,
As we look and see,
We must praise our heavenly Father,
And give Him all the glory!
From our family of three,
To your family of nine,
In Jesus we are a fruitful tree,
At His banquette table we shall dine.
Thank you dear friends,
Keep writing, praising, and
serving,
For memories will not end,
Your friends,
the Eagle family.
Here is a verse, I read today, that I thought reflects God's handiwork in the skies:
Psalm 148, verses 1-5, "Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens! Praise him from the skies! Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all the armies of heaven! Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you twinkling stars! Praise him, skies above! Praise him, vapors high above the clouds! Let every created thing give praise to the LORD, for he issued his command, and they came into being."
Love,
Mrs. Eagle
