Oh wow! I'd keep them all. But of course you know how much I love dogs. So, are you going to sell them?

Yes, we remember "Bear" fondly! These pups will be just like him . . . big and friendly!
Yes, it will be hard to sell them. We get pretty attached to them by the time they're ready to go to their new homes!

Oh my! They all look black. Will they stay this color, or will their colors change? We've never had puppies!

Yes, actually they are all black, and will stay black!! We still cannot believe that they are ALL black, but after doing some research about it, we found out that it is very common. If you breed a chocolate mom, and a yellow dad it is more than 50 percent that you get all black!!!

That is so interesting! Thank you for researching it and sharing what you discovered. Who would have ever thought such to be true? I would have guessed that yellow and chocolate labs would produce only yellow and chocolate.
This really brings memories of our black "Bear" to mind.

Yes, the puppies are so cute, and it WILL be hard to sell them! But we do have something else to look forward to! In about a week we are going to buy another yellow lab puppy! We named her "Lucy"!

I love Labs! They're my favorite. We have a cat, who lives up to her very name: P. (Pain) I. (in) B (enough said!). We love her to death though we're afraid to admit it.
