Fair Fun!

Hands up in the air, and let the fair fun begin!

Caroline's quilt was awarded the "Superintendent's" ribbon!

(The superintendent of the fair picked one item from all the sewing entries!)

Lydia and Valerie's baked goods both placed well!

This looks like great fun and good eating, But I would be too scared to join Valerie and Timothy on the farris wheel!

Looks like Timothy is learning the Bowes thrill ride trait. There is not a roller coaster ride in the country that you kids would not go on.

Congratulation Caroline. That award must make you feel very well.

Lydia and Valerie, all of us that have visited you know how great cooks you are. Now more of the world knows.

Love you all more than all the raisins in the world,
Grandpa

Dear Grammie and Papa,

I wish you were here to enjoy the fair with us and (not to mention the treats we entered!!):) "Like father like son" Daddy has your same feelings towards tasting the fair treats!!:) Daddy had LOTS of troubles throwing our fair foods away when the fair was over, as it was very stale and bad tasting! I bet next time you visit us, we will make you a couple things we entered in the fair!!:):):):):)

I love you both and miss you soooo much!!
Love,
Valerie for all of us

Dear Grandpa,

Yes, Timmy is learning from us "big kids" that all roller coasters are fun and that they are not usually very scary! Lydia and I are very glad you enjoy our cooking!

We love you more than all the scones in the world!
Love,
Valerie for everyone
